1. Daniels U-Pick

 

Open for over 40 years, Daniels U-Pick is a local favourite. Pick your own apples, pears and plums, take a wagon ride and tour the orchard. If you don’t feel like picking your own, you can buy fresh, pre-picked apples, pears, plums, squash, and pumpkins at their farm stand.

2. Vista Bella Farm Orchard and Apiary

There is more than just apple-picking fun at Vista Bella Farm Orchard and Apiary. There are kid-friendly activities around the farm to keep them entertained and a cidery for adults to check out. After picking, check out their store for hard cider, honey, and seasonal vegetables.

3. Dempsey Corner Orchards

Pick from 57 varieties of apples at Dempsey Corner Orchards. Along with apples, you can pick your own peaches, grapes, plums, pears, and squash There is also a farm-themed playground, a petting zoo and corn maze during the fall that they whole family will love.

4. Elderkin’s Farm Market & U-Pick

Just outside of Wolfville is Elderkin’s Farm Market & U-Pick. During the fall, you can pick your own apples, pears, and pumpkins. It can be busy in the u-pick, but you can still get fresh apples in their store, along with their famous apple cider.

5. Gates U-Pick

Apples, pears, pumpkins, and sunflowers are waiting for you at Gates U-Pick. Enjoy the fall weather on a fun wagon ride when going into the orchard.

6. Apple Lane Farm

The orchard u-picks are open on Saturdays at Apple Lane Farm. Offering 20 varieties of apples, Apple Lane Farm’s stand is packed with yummy, freshly picked apples that will fit everyone’s tastes.

7. Noggins Farm

 

An iconic part of fall in the Annapolis Valley, Noggins Farm is ‘the place’ to go to pick apples, find a pumpkin, and buy season produce. Take the wagon ride to reach the orchards and pick apples to take home with you.

8. Johnson’s Stonehenge Farm

Johnson’s Stonehenge Farm is a little different from other u-picks because it offers a unique program where you adopt a tree. They offer a variety of apple trees. If you adopt a tree, you will receive a certificate, a sign will be placed under the tree, and you can pick its fruit.

9. Boates Vinegar & U-Pick

 

Boates Vinegar & U-Pick has been open since 1960. They grow a large variety of certified organic apples and pears for their U-pick. You can also pick up pre-picked fruit, vinegar and sweet cider at the farm store.
