Taste limited edition croissant flavours which will be available from October 1st-7th.
The event is organized by Laura Jo who wanted to highlight all the wonderful bakeries in Vancouver that serves up melt-in-your-mouth croissants.
Laura together with her friends has selected 10 vendors at 14 different locations who will be selling these tasty treats throughout the week.
The following stores will be taking part in this Croissant Crawl:
- You can eat mouthwatering Apple Crumble Spice Double Baked Croissant at Lumine Coffee. This is a double baked croissant with caramelized honeycomb candy and vanilla buttercream and spiced apple crumble. Lumine Coffee is located at 1965 W 4th Avenue #103, Vancouver.
- Bel Cafe will be selling Churro Croissant and Cinnamon and Dulce De Leche at 1780 W 3rd Ave and 801 W Georgia St, Vancouver.
- Melktart Croissants will be sold at Nelson the Seagull. This is a muffin-shaped, classic South African Melkart dessert. There is cinnamon spiced melktart custard inside with a Rooibos tea glaze and a cinnamon cookie crumble on top. Nelson the Seagull is located at 315 Carrall St, Vancouver.
- Buy Double Baked Almond Croissants at Davie Village Bakery. These are traditional croissants with a modern twist. They are filled with almond cream and topped with icing sugar and sliced almonds. They also sell Double Baked Almond Pistachio Croissants with pistachio cream, icing sugar and crushed pistachios. Davie Village Bakery is located at 1216 Davie St, Vancouver.
- At Terra Breads, taste Pumpkin Pie Double Baked Croissant. This is a twist on the traditional fall dessert with pumpkin and almond spice cream and crumble topping. Terra Breads is located at 1689 Johnston St #107, Vancouver. Other locations include 1605 Manitoba St and 2380 W 4th Ave. You can also find them at 53 W 5th Ave.
- You can get Double Baked Kaya Pomelo from the Seasons Bakery at 2879 Commercial Dr, Vancouver
- Cadeaux Bakery is selling Mash n’ Stuffin Croissants with garlic mash, rosemary, béchamel, and stuffing frangipane. The croissant is topped with frangipane and can be purchased at 172 Powell St, Vancouver.
- Trafiq Cafe and Bakery will be selling Apricot Streusel Croissant at 4216 Main St, Vancouver.
- The Viva Cafe and Bakery sells Kasama Chocolate Pain Suisse. You can find them at 1555 Yew St, Vancouver.
- You can also buy croissants at the Little Cafe on Robson, located at 1258 Robson St, Vancouver.
You can also take pictures of your croissant purchase and post them on Instagram to win prizes.
