When we hear “Paris of the Prairies,” most will think of Saskatoon. While the city may have the unofficial title, there is a village in Saskatchewan with the tagline, Paris of the Prairies.

Find Montmartre about 90km east of Regina- you will know you’ve arrived when you’re met with a 9m tall replica (1/38-scale model) of the Eiffel Tower.
Montmartre was originally a French settlement in the late 1800s. Today, this enormous statue (and the surrounding park), along with the town’s name, pays homage to the local history and culture.

The Kemoca Regional Park on the south side of Montmartre is open until September 30th, with camping and a wide host of family-friendly activities. The campground has a 9-hole golf course, a disc golf course, ball diamonds, basketball nets, and an outdoor pool for the warmer months.
The Sisters’ Boutique & Bistro in Montmartre create a one-stop shop for picnic foods, snacks, and local goods. The local Pit Stop 48 is open seasonally from May to September for take-out foods and snacks, and there is a summer picnic at Eiffel Tower Park.
June is an excellent time to visit the mini Eiffel Tower and Montmartre. Each June, the village hosts the All Folk’d Up Music Festival. Additionally, this is an excellent opportunity to see the Eiffel Tower and its surrounding gardens in full bloom.
