Douglas Provincial Park kicks things off August 22–23 with the Vintage RV & Boat Show. Friday’s lineup includes bingo and a chance to paint a retro camper, while Saturday brings children’s activities and an evening of live music at the picnic shelter.
On August 23, Moose Mountain Provincial Park hosts the Cabin Fever Art Festival. Visitors can tour the historic Artist Colony cabins, browse the lakeside artist market, and join workshops before capping the day with a concert by country artist Justin LaBrash.
Film fans can catch Sask Parks Summer Cinema events: The Wild Robot screens August 23 at Makwa Lake, Despicable Me 4 arrives August 30 at The Battlefords, and Moana 2 lights up the big screen September 6 at Saskatchewan Landing. Families can join crafts with Park Interpreters before each showing.
Food lovers will find a taste of Europe at Cypress Hills on September 6–7, where the Lakeview Grill’s A Night in Italy will serve a farm-fresh Italian dinner for just 60 guests each evening.
Nature takes centre stage September 13 with Into the Pines at Candle Lake. Guided by park interpreters, hikers will traverse the six-kilometre Old Baldy Trail, learning about the wetlands and forests that shape the region.
From art to adventure, Saskatchewan’s parks promise memorable moments as summer winds down.
