A Surrey garden centre has undergone its annual Christmas transformation, filling 28,000 square feet with decorated trees, miniature train villages, sparkling lights and thousands of seasonal gifts.

Christmas Store at Potters
The Christmas Store at Potters is back for its 22nd season, welcoming visitors daily through December 24 at 19158 48th Avenue.
More than 30 individually themed Christmas trees form the centrepiece of the store, alongside over 50 styles of stockings, ornaments, toys, puzzles and games.
What’s New at Potters Christmas Store in 2026?
This year’s entrance display, Christmas Traditions, takes inspiration from European holiday decorating trends.
Thousands of crystals hang from towering red, green and white trees, where illuminated woodland animals appear to present gifts to a Snow Queen standing on a treetop balcony.

Inside, the 3,000-square-foot Dark Room features glowing displays, including more than 40 nightlight designs, Christmas water lanterns and LED Infinity Lights that create mirror-like optical effects.
The expanded Train Town features an electric train travelling through a miniature village of houses, shops and moving carousels. Visitors will also find what Potters describes as Canada’s largest collection of whimsical mouse decorations.
Gifts, Treats and Santa’s Report Card
Beyond the displays, the store has several themed shopping sections:
- Gourmet Food: More than 40 hot chocolate flavours, locally made preserves, Bacon Ketchup, Dill Pickle Ketchup and chocolate treats.
- Squishie Headquarters: Over 50 designs of squeezable toys.
- Petland: Christmas stockings, ornaments and accessories for pets.
- Coca-Cola: Collectibles displayed in a 1950s diner-inspired setting.
- Great Britain: British treats, mugs and gifts displayed around a red telephone box.
- Men-Zone and Women’s Fashions: Clothing, accessories and seasonal gifts.
Families can also participate in Santa’s Report Card, returning for its 16th year. The free activity lets children share their completed chores and personal accomplishments with Santa.
