This is one of the most famous Halloween Haunts in Edmonton.
This year, the Halloween event at Fort Edmonton will feature 3 haunts with the theme, ‘Where terror awaits’ – Under the Big Top, Blood Harvest, and 3 AM – that is sure to leave you shaking with fear.
As per the organizers, each one is scarier than the other. There is one new haunt and the other two are a continuation of the haunts that were there last year. Each experience is around 8 terrifying minutes long.
This event is only for older teens (14+) and adults who are brave enough to step into this spooky park at night.
The theatre show, Dead Centre of Town is back after two years. Learn Edmonton’s haunting secrets at this live-action thriller by the DCoT collective and Catch the Keys Productions. The play is said to be inspired by Edmonton’s history. You can attend it on its own or get it together with your DARK ticket. On October 16, 19, 23, and 26, you can watch it without DARK.
If you want to turn it into a Halloween date night, there will be local food trucks serving spooky cocktails and a live DJ playing spooky tunes at the park.
Join Fort Edmonton Park on Instagram during their Live Quiz Night every Monday and you can get prizes if you get the correct answers. You can also buy DARK merch from the gift shop which is at the front entry or purchase it online with your ticket and collect it on the event night.
Tickets are $45 and will give you access to 3 haunts. The DARK experience will be on October 7, 18, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 29, and 30,

Dead Centre of Town by the DCoT Collective with Catch the Keys Productions is Edmonton’s only live-action thriller inspired by true history and possesses the Capitol Theatre for an intimate and immersive theatrical retelling of some of Edmonton’s long-lost supernatural secrets. Secrets that can’t stay backstage forever.
