The Pan American Food & Music Festival (PAFMF) is Canada’s only annual festival that celebrates the Western Hemisphere’s rich diversity of cuisine, music and art.

The Festival presents food demos by international chefs, live music and dance performances, food competitions and a Pan American vendors’ market offering diverse foods and merchandise and any opportunities to discover the delicious and diverse cuisine of North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, as well as the region’s rich musical traditions. An event for all ages!

With the participation of over 250 performers from various countries and communities, the Parade will be a visually stunning spectacle that will take place at Nathan Phillips Square!

TASTE OF PANAMA – Sunday, July 23 — 1:00 to 1:30 PM – CHEF’S TENT
Join us for a taste of Panama on Sunday, where chefs Leda and Lizka prepare one of the country’s most beloved dishes- the Salmorejo de Yuca and Chicharron.

CHOCOLATE TASTING – Sunday, July 23 — 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM – CHEF’S TENT
This year, we’re featuring our very own culinary curator, Mary Luz Mejia, who also happens to be Canada’s first (and so far, only) IICCT Level III Chocolate Taster.

Saturday July 22nd 4:00 to 5:00 PM – CHEF’S TENT
Empanadas! a delicious Spanish or Latin-American pastry turnover filled with savory ingredients! They come in different sizes and are filled with cheese, meat and more!
