Killarney Provincial Park
Killarney Provincial Park is an exceptional outdoor wonderland with immense wilderness landscapes.
Visually colorful views permeate the area, as the pink granite of the Georgian Bay Coast, the white quartzite ridges of La Cloche Mountains, and the snow-covered lakes come together to craft the perfect backdrop for winter activities like yurt camping or backcountry camping, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, as well as bundling up and checking out the night sky of Ontario’s first Dark Sky Preserve.

Searchmont Resort

Windy Lake Provincial Park
Head to Windy Lake Provincial Park for winter camping in the lakeside cabins and yurt campsites. Porcupine Ski Runners
Located within Timmins, residents of the area can enjoy a local escape to Porcupine Ski Runners. Created in 1972, this volunteer-run, not-for-profit center has become one of the largest ski clubs in Canada. Kids will also love the large playground and various tobogganing hills.

Walden Cross Country
Located just outside the greater Sudbury area, Walden Cross Country has been creating ‘happy trails’ since 1978. This not-for-profit ski club welcomes all experience levels, snowshoers, snowboarders, and fat bikes. From March 11 to 15 take advantage of fantastic deals, complimentary hot drinks, and great menu options.

Yurt It Up
If your family loves camping, experience a unique March break escape inside a yurt!
