Bois-des-Esprits Forest/Seine River Greenway

This 117-acre urban forest showcases stunning fall colors across five ecosystems: riverbottom, wetland, oak forest, aspen forest, and grassland. Part of the expansive 27 km Seine River Greenway, Bois-des-Esprits Trail (2.0 km) makes it a prime location for observing diverse wildlife, including a resident group of whitetail deer, and exploring features like the oxbows—abandoned riverbeds offering lush, scenic spots ideal for fall vistas. The various wood carvings adds a whimsical touch to your hike.
