Part of the Whiteshell Provincial Park, the 4 km hike near West Hawk Lake leads you to a glorious lookout high above Falcon Lake. This one-hour hike is perfect for viewing the colour of the fall.
Go Hiking at Birds Hill Park
Just outside Winnipeg, you’ll find this lovely provincial park. There are plenty of hiking trails of varying difficulty for you to try. You’ll love how the trees look in the fall as you walk through them. This is one park you won’t want to miss checking out!
Check Out a Corn Maze
A Maze in Corn is a great place to check out if you’re looking for some autumn fun this year. Bring your significant other or a group of friends and check out this super fun corn maze. Once you manage to find your way back out, don’t forget to pay a visit to the petting zoo.

Visit the Mennonite Heritage Village

Get to Know Hecla/Grindstone Provincial Park
Even in the fall, Hecla/Grindstone Provincial Park has plenty to offer. There are several hiking trails, and you’ll want to make sure to visit the area’s famous lighthouse. Plus, in the fall there will be fewer crowds, making it a great place to visit if you’re looking for a quieter adventure.

Open year-round, the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site is a great place to go if you’re interested in local history. This outdoor and interactive museum will provide you with hours of fun and exploration. In the autumn, the grounds are particularly beautiful.

Visit the Pinawa Dam
The ruins of the old dam in Pinawa are a popular attraction for those interested in photography. Popular in the summer, coming here in the autumn provides you with a less crowded experience. You’ll also get to enjoy how stunning the area becomes in the fall.
Head to St. Malo Provincial Park

Head to King Korn Maze
First established in 2018, this family-owned corn maze is one you’re not going to want to miss out on this year. Wander among the stalks and try not to get lost while looking for the exit in their four mazes. To make the adventure more alluring, visit the farm during Halloween for their Nightmares event.

Prairie Dog Central Railway
Take a train ride on a fully restored 1900-era vintage train with five wooden coaches pulled by either an 1882 steam or a 1950s classic GP9 diesel locomotive. Train rides occur on weekends from May through September. For two weekends from mid-October, book Halloween-themed rides. Details
