Gabriel Dumont Park

 

This beautiful park is a great place to go on a gorgeous summer day. Enjoy the natural prairie landscape, or visit the more urban section of the park where kids can romp around on the playground. No matter which part of the park you choose, you’ll love the beautiful atmosphere as you enjoy your picnic.

Kinsmen Park

You’ll love spending time in this lovely park. Pack your picnic and set up in one of the park’s beautiful grassy areas on a warm summer day. If you’re bringing your kids with you, they’ll have a great time hanging out on the various play structures.

Briarwood Park

This beautifully maintained park is a fantastic place to go for a picnic. Set yourself up by the pond and watch the ducks floating around as you eat. Once you’re done, going for a lovely walk through the park is a great idea.

Kiwanis Memorial Park

This park was established as a tribute to Saskatoon’s war veterans. You’ll love exploring the ground of Kiwanis Memorial Park as you find a place to sit and eat. There are even barbecue pits available, so feel free to bring food that needs to be grilled!

Henry Kelsey Park

Grab the kids and picnic lunch and head to this beautiful park for the afternoon! You’ll love spending time here as you enjoy your meal, and your kids will appreciate the play structures. There are also baseball diamonds and a soccer field if you feel like playing a game or two.

Ashworth Holmes Park

Expect to have a great time when you visit Ashworth Holmes Park! The park is spacious with sunny and shaded areas where you can sit down for your meal. There are also plenty of walking paths so you can stretch your legs while you’re here.

Cosmopolitan Park

Thornton Park

While this is primarily a splash park, there are still lots of places to sit down for a picnic. Eat some great food with family and friends and then go cool off at the splash pad on a hot summer day. Kids especially will enjoy this park!

Hyde Park

Escape the business of everyday life when you head to Hyde Park. Pack your picnic and sit in the beautiful grassy areas, enjoying the birdsong as you eat. The park also features amenities like well-maintained walking paths and an off-leash dog area where Fido can run around and play.

Churchill Park
