A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck northern Alberta on Thursday at 8:41 a.m. MST, according to Earthquakes Canada.

The quake, with a depth of 5.0 km, was centred at latitude 54.34°N and longitude 118.56°W.
Tremors were lightly felt in Edson, Grand Prairie, Whitecourt and Prince George.
No damage has been reported.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a magnitude of 4.7, with the epicentre located 69 km from Grande Cache, Alberta.
Earthquake Canada is asking residents who felt the quake to report their experiences through an online questionnaire.
