Alberta is a treasure trove of things to do during June. You can hit up local music festivals, start making your way to the beach, and gear up for camping season. Choose between vacation rentals in Alberta, Provincial camping, local hotels, or Alberta’s dozens of private campgrounds.

See the Wildflowers of the Cypress Hills

Cypress Hills Provincial Park has a variety of accommodations for visitors, and tons to do in the spring or summer. The park is in a unique hill formation which creates the highest point in Canada outside of the Rockies. During late spring, these hills become a colourful array of wildflower blooms. The easiest way to explore the park is by hiking along the forested and open trails. Time can also be spent on the beach of Elkwater Lake, paddling the lake, or cycling the trails. There are seven total campgrounds, some of which still have availability for this weekend.
