5 Ways to Have a Blast at Jasper Pride & Ski Festival

This could be one of your last chances to party on the hill this season! The Jasper Pride & Ski Festival runs from April 1st to 10th this year with promises of indoor and outdoor fun, celebrations and activities for all ages, food and drink, and countless ways to celebrate your own way.

Tickets are now on sale for the food, wine, and beer events, the dance parties, and admission to Marmot.

1. The Official Pride & Ski Parties

There are two major official Pride & Ski Parties which you can attend, both of which are hosted in town. The Kick-off Party on the Festival’s first day is a shorter celebration with music and snacks. The final big party of the week on April 9th keeps things going with drag kings and queens, dueling pianos, DJs, drinks and dancing until 2am.

2. Food & Drink Events

While you’re in Jasper enjoying the Pride parties, and breathtaking ski views, you can also indulge in some of the town’s best food and drink. Through the festival are a few different events dedicated to Pride, wine, beer, and local eats.

3. Skiing or Snowboarding at Marmot

Marmot Basin is the official ski hill of Jasper Pride 2022, and has a few fun events planned for the week. There will be small activities throughout the 10 days, the Alpine Fun Race, and a ski party on April 9th. Access to the party is free with a valid Marmot lift ticket.

4. Live Music & Dancing

There are a few different dance parties taking place during Pride & Ski, which are either free or by donation. All you need to bring are some dancing shoes and your love for music.

5. More Free Pride Pass Activities

By getting your Free Pride Pass, you have access to even more activities! You can find something free to do for all ages at Jasper Pride & Ski like: Wellness Pride Yoga, Rock N’ Roll Bingo, Drag Bingo, Family Pride – Stories, Songs and S’mores, and a Line Dancing Workshop.
