It is almost biblical! Etobicoke Creek in Mississauga started running red from yesterday after approximately 400L of red ink was spilled into the Creek.
Peel Public Works announced that the Ministry of the Environment and Conservation and Parks are on site and clean up is underway.

The red ink came from a company in North Mississauga. An accident occurred at a factory and the ink spilled. The creek was checked by Peel Public Works and there were no dead fish or other wildlife seen by either Peel staff, Ministry of Environment or Conservation and Parks staff.

Some residents were skeptical about the amount of the spill because the creek was quite red in colour.
Where could 400L of ink spilled from? This should be a fairly easy claim for a local to investigate. What I can say is that you’d probably need closer to 40,000L of it to make it look like that. 400L would never do that.
