Travellers from Windsor, Ontario, will have direct access to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with weekly Friday flights scheduled between December 19, 2025, and April 10, 2026.
New weekly flights from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Fredericton, New Brunswick, to Cancún, Mexico, will begin on February 18, 2026, and continue every Wednesday until April 22, 2026.
The expansion is part of Air Transat’s broader effort to increase its presence in Southern Ontario and Eastern Canada. The airline aims to improve connectivity to popular vacation destinations while also reinforcing its market share in Cancún and Punta Cana.
This move brings direct international options to regions that typically rely on larger hubs for such travel, offering added convenience for local residents. The new routes will also integrate with Air Transat’s all-inclusive travel offerings.
A full announcement outlining the complete winter 2025-2026 schedule is expected at a later date.
