Wendy’s Canada will introduce a new limited-time menu item, the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger, starting Monday, May 19. The sandwich will be available exclusively at Canadian locations.

The new item features a quarter-pound beef patty sourced from Canadian farms, topped with caramelized onions, mayonnaise, and a slice of cheese made with Canadian dairy. What sets it apart is its bun replacement—two grilled cheese sandwiches that contain additional melted cheese.

This marks the first time Wendy’s has offered this particular menu item, developed specifically for the Canadian market. It will be available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

Wendy’s sources its beef from both Eastern and Western Canada. According to the company, the beef patty reaches restaurants within ten days of processing.

The release of the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger coincides with the brand’s 50th anniversary in Canada.

Additionally, from May 26 to June 29, Wendy’s will offer small beverages for $1.99, including the Frosty Fizz, Frosty-ccino, and Iced Coffee. Customers can also customize their cold coffee drinks with vanilla, chocolate, or caramel flavours.

These menu additions are available for a limited time only.

Yuck it’s dry, only mayo for condoments, just sliced the bun in 4 pieces and put unmelted cheese between them, costs for too much bun. Was just slapped together by foreign vegans, could be a location specific problem
