Beer & Wings: Boston Pizza Launches High Tea for Father’s Day Weekend

Boston Pizza is putting a new spin on Father’s Day celebrations this year with a limited-time event called “High Tea at BP,” offered on June 14 and 15 at select locations across Canada.

The event reimagines the traditional afternoon tea by replacing typical fare like scones and cucumber sandwiches with more dad-oriented selections. Served on tiered trays with white tablecloths, the spread includes Boston Pizza staples such as NY Sicilian Squarefooter pizza, Cactus Cut Potatoes, wings, ribs, and mini Bandera Bread sandwiches. Instead of tea, guests are served draught beer from teapots.

“High Tea at BP is our playful twist on a tradition that’s long overdue for a dad-friendly upgrade,” said Niels van Oyen, Director of Marketing at Boston Pizza International. The initiative aims to offer a unique and lighthearted alternative to conventional Father’s Day gifts, such as neckties and electronics.

Attendees will also receive a complimentary pack of golf balls as part of the experience.

Boston Pizza, founded in Edmonton in 1964, is now a national chain with locations across Canada. The company operates a mix of dining rooms, sports bars, and patios and has been recognized multiple times for its franchise operations and workplace environment.

Reservations for High Tea at BP can be made directly through participating Boston Pizza locations.
