Blue Mountain Village’s Holiday Magic Festivities Kick Off This Weekend With Fireworks, and Light Displays

The holidays are a time to have fun with your loved ones and to spread Christmas cheer. You can experience the joy and the magic of the season at the Blue Mountain Village.

This exciting holiday celebration will begin on November 19th.

There are tons of entertaining activities planned for the whole family at the Village.

Take a stroll through the Village and discover the beauty and magic of Christmas. The entire Blue Mountain Village and its storefronts will be adorned with bright red bows, garlands and thousands of Christmas ornaments.

Walk under enchanting lights on their 1 km long light trail. Some of these light displays are interactive too. You can take loads of amazing pictures under the glow of these sparkling lights.

Holiday fun wouldn’t be complete without Santa and his elves. Meet Santa riding his sleigh with his elves onboard. You can also meet many other holiday characters, including the Yeti and his friend Frost.

 

There will be live entertainment during the weekend with many talented local artists and carolers will be performing live.

On the opening day – Friday, November 19, Coco-Cola Holiday Truck will be at the village and the festivities include carolling, Ice Princess, photos with Yeti, Santa on his sleigh, the Holiday Light Trail, warming stations and more.

Enjoy an incredible firework display, every Saturday, over the Mill Pond starting November 20th at 8:00 p.m.

There are many local shops and restaurants in the Village. You will find many unique gifts here from cute toys for kids to makeup products, Canadian made active wear and Christmas decor.

Stores will be open all day, every day, throughout the week. From Saturdays to Thursdays the stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

You can grab a bite at one of the local cafes and restaurants. They also have many grab-and-go stores. At the Kaytoo restaurant, you can enjoy your meal in a warm and cozy igloo.

If you plan on spending more time at the Blue Mountain Village there are many accommodation options available. You can book a rental or stay at the Blue Mountain Resort.

The Blue Mountain Village will be open from dusk to 10 p.m and admission is free. Some activities are ticketed.
