Live music will take over the Main Street bandstand later that evening. Hello Fiasco and Dreams and Rumours are scheduled to perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., providing the first of several entertainment programs planned for the weekend.

Saturday will feature the festival’s largest concentration of activities. The Boardwalk Days Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Park Avenue and Prospect Street, marking the start of a full day of events.

Food trucks will serve visitors near Robinson and Murray avenues from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Wonder Shows midway will reopen at noon and continue until 11 p.m., while the market will run from noon to 9 p.m. along Robinson and Murray avenues.

The Massed Pipes and Drums of Manitoba will perform at the Main Street bandstand from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday’s evening music program will follow from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring Prairie Soul and High Road Band.

The day will conclude with a fireworks display by Archangel Fireworks at 10:30 p.m. The display is scheduled after the evening concert and will serve as the final major event of Saturday’s program.

Food trucks will return to Robinson and Murray avenues from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The midway and market will both operate from noon to 5 p.m., giving visitors a final opportunity to attend the rides, shop from local vendors, and purchase food before the festival closes.

Admission to Boardwalk Days is free. Separate charges apply for midway rides, food, and items purchased from vendors.

Visitors should also be aware of temporary road closures in the festival area. Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Wednesday, July 15, through Sunday, July 19. Robinson Avenue will also be closed from July 17 to 19.

Drivers are advised to follow posted detour and parking signs, use alternate routes, and allow additional time when travelling through Winnipeg Beach. Increased pedestrian activity is expected near Main Street, Robinson Avenue, Murray Avenue, and the bandstand throughout the weekend. Motorists should watch for visitors, volunteers, and event staff working in and around the festival grounds.
