Winnipeg Beach

On the shores of Lake Winnipeg, you’ll find Winnipeg Beach. A popular summer destination for all Manitobans, you’ll love paying a visit to this beach. There are plenty of restaurants and ice cream places nearby, so make sure to check those out while you’re here!

Gimli

Gimli is a great place to go if you’re looking for somewhere fun to go this summer. The beach makes for a fun place to swim, relax, or even fish. If you get tired of hanging out on the sand, take a stroll along the dock and check out the town’s famous lighthouse.

There’s plenty of variety at this beach, making it a great place for those who like to explore. Wander along the sandy shores after you’ve had a swim, and then check out the gorgeous marshlands. Make sure to keep an eye out for the piping plovers that call the beach home.

Falcon Lake

Once you get to Falcon Lake, you may never want to leave again. This provincial park features a gorgeous beach that makes for great swimming. There are also lots of hiking trails and places to explore around the park that you won’t want to miss out on.

If you’re looking for a quieter beach area, then head to St. Malo. The two available beaches both make for great lounging and swimming locations. There are also a few walking trails nearby if you feel like getting a little exercise.

Victoria Beach

This beach on the southeastern shores of Lake Winnipeg is a Manitoba favourite. Make sure you head here the next time you feel like heading to a beach. Swim, lounge around on the sand, or play a few games of beach volleyball with your friends while you’re here.

Birds Hill

 

The manmade beach at Birds Hill Provincial Park is a popular summer destination for Manitobans. Just outside of Winnipeg, you’ll love spending a few hours hanging out at the beach. Jump in the water for a swim, and pack a picnic before you go that you can enjoy on the many available picnic benches.

Twin Lakes Beach

Looking for a quiet beach where you can relax for the day? You’ll want to check out Twin Lakes Beach in the rural municipality of St. Laurent. This little gem is a great place to spend some time on the water.

Beaconia Beach

This 3-kilometre-wide beach area offers a great, quiet location to spend the day. Roam around the sandy shores and enjoy everything it has to offer. With both a clothing-mandatory and clothing-optional area, all types are welcome at this beach.
