Knightfall, an exceptional event showcasing fully armoured Knights engaged in fierce combat, is set to deliver a thrilling experience to spectators this weekend in Calgary.

The Knightfall event, billed as Canada’s largest armoured combat tournament, will showcase the toughest sport on the planet, where fully armoured Knights battle it out for the title of Canadian Champions. This thrilling spectacle will feature intense one-on-one matches, group competitions, and a grand battle royale to determine the ultimate victors.
The tournament will kick off at 12 noon, starting with one on one matches in various combat categories such as Longsword, Polearm, Sword and Shield, Saber, Greatsword, and Profight. These bouts will showcase the technique and skill of individual warriors, with points being awarded to determine the winners.
The real highlight begins at 5:00 pm, where fully armoured teams of up to 25 members each will engage in a no-holds-barred battle royale. These teams will compete fiercely against each other, vying for the prestigious title of reigning Canadian Champions of Armored Combat.
Emphasizing a no-holds-barred approach, these battles promise to be full-contact and entirely unscripted.
Tickets are now available for purchase online. Tickets begin at $8.05 for youths (6-18), $28.34 for adults (16-80), and a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children under 16) for $61.10.
The event will be hosted at the Markin MacPhail Centre, Winsport Canada Olympic Park, and doors open to the public on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 11:45 am, with the event concluding at 9:00 pm.
