Calgary International Fireworks Festival Offering 50% Off Admission to Frontline Workers

The International Fireworks Festival is offering 50 per cent off on admission to August 26th’s fireworks show to frontline workers.

Tomorrow’s show by Team Philippines is designed by Robert Basihan, of Blue Peacock Fireworks. The team will present “A Lorica” (Our Fight Song) as a tribute to all the victims and survivors of COVID-19 and the real heroes – front-line workers.

The show is storytelling of what has transpired since day one and made the world stand still in the fight against the pandemic.

 

The Philippines Night is supported by Excel Homes.

Fireworks by Team Philippines will be the last team to compete in this year’s festival which began on August 19th.

The final show on Saturday, August 28th will feature Canadian team Archangel Fireworks Inc.

How to get tickets – GlobalFest Philippines night:

Frontline workers can get 50% off general admission tickets online with discount code FRONTLINE for Thursday, August 26th show reducing the cost to $10.50 from $21.

Tickets are also available at the gate on August 26th. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The festival also features over 20 international food booths to tempt the taste buds, and four stages around the lake providing entertainment from several of Calgary’s cultural associations.

The Festival by GlobalFest takes place at Elliston Park, 1827 68 St SE, Calgary.
