CFIA says the recalled AlBurj brand Tahina and Halawa have been sold in Alberta.

CFIA is asking Canadians not to consume foods containing Salmonella. It should be returned to the store or thrown out.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
Symptoms of a Salmonella infection, called salmonellosis, include: fever, chills, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, headache, nausea, vomiting and typically start 6 to 72 hours after exposure to Salmonella bacteria from an infected animal, person or contaminated product.
