Childish Gambino is gearing up for a major return to the international music scene with his upcoming “The New World Tour,” which is set to start on August 11 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
Spanning across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, the tour is produced by AEG Presents and will conclude on February 11 at RAC Arena in Perth, WA.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Gambino released a reimagined version of his album “Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions)” through RCA Records. The album features new tracks like “Atavista” and “Human Sacrifice” along with an official music video for “Little Foot Big Foot,” directed by Hiro Murai and featuring Young Nudy.
Childish Gambino will perform at four locations in Canada: Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on August 18, Rogers Arena in Vancouver on September 23, Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on September 27, and Rogers Place in Edmonton on September 29.
The North American leg of the tour will feature WILLOW as the direct support, while Amaarae will join as support for the European, UK, and Australasian legs. Tickets are set to go on sale to the general public on May 17, with various presales beginning May 15.
