About Bow Falls Banff?
A shallow but wide waterfall caused by the change of course of the Bow River, situated very near the Banff town. Further along,the Bow river mingles with the Spray River.
What to do at the Bow Falls?
Enjoy seeing the falls and the scenery around the falls.
Walk along the trail by the side of the Falls (the trail is not very stroller friendly as there are numerous steps).
Picnic.
Join for float tours which start at Bow falls to the Hoodoos, by Rocky Mountain Raft Tours .
How to get to Bow Falls Banff National Park?
Bow Falls Banff Location/Directions
To reach the falls by car, cross the bridge from Banff town and left onto Spray avenue, and again turn left on the Bow Falls drive (follow the golf course signs). The parking lot is on the left.
On foot, from the town follow the trail along Bow river which starts from the south end of Banff Avenue, after the bridge. (Map)
