A Christmas market is a traditional event that celebrates the sights, sounds, and scents of the season staged during the weeks leading up to Christmas. These markets originated in Germany and Alsace, beginning in the early 1400s, and now they are held in many countries all over the world.
The Banff Christmas Market is inspired by the Old World and influenced by the New. It captures all of the tradition, heritage, and romance of these European Markets while showcasing the best artisanal products of the Bow Valley and its surrounding regions. Boasting unique products, family-friendly entertainment, and a festive menu of cocktails, pretzels, mulled wine, and sweets, The Banff Christmas Market creates a warm and inviting environment for families of all ages during the day and an adult atmosphere in the evening.

- Friday Evening: Adult 11–64 $15 Senior 65+ $12 Youth 3–10 $5 Child 0–2 Free + GST & fees
- Friday Daytime: Adult 11–64 $10 Senior 65+ $8 Youth 3–10 $5 Child 0–2 Free + GST & fees
- Saturday & Sunday: Adult 11–64 $16.50 Senior 65+ $14.50 Youth 3–10 $7 Child 0–2 Free + GST & fees
100% of child ticket sales are donated to the Shine Foundation in support of young Canadians living with severe physical disabilities
