Beer VS. Wine Brewmaster’s Dinner

This is a unique Brewmaster’s dinner as each course will be paired with a beer and a wine!
This annual event will challenge experts to perfectly pair hand-selected beer and wine with a delicious four-course dinner created by our Executive Chefs – a battle between Cicerone and Sommelier! Who wins? You decide! Guests have the chance to vote on their favourite pairing while enjoying dinner.

Our resident Cicerone Robert Swiderski is one of the original CRAFT Beer Market founding members in Calgary, Alberta. He shares a vision with his business partners to bring locally sourced, hand-crafted food and fresh local beer to the people. He currently holds the titles of Certified Cicerone and Recognized Beer Judge, but enjoys continuously fueling his thirst for knowledge in the forever changing landscape of the craft brewing industry.

Our guest Sommelier from Mark Anothony Wine & Spirits, Jordan Sudermann, came to Calgary 3 years ago after living in Eastern Canada and quickly learned that West is in fact best! She found her passion for wine, beer and spirits after working in restaurants throughout university. Jordan currently holds the role of On Premise Account Manager for Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits with WSET 2 Certification and Certified Beer Server diploma. Jordan is a firm believer in rose all day, bubbles make everything better and the best wine pairing is an open bottle and a table shared with friends!
