Discover the creativity of Canadian songwriting at Composition: A Songwriters’ Retreat, a musical residency culminating in a special live showcase at Bow & Bend Rooftop in Calgary! Curated by CCMA Award-nominated Blue Jay Sessions, the residency brings together Alberta-based and visiting Canadian singer-songwriters for five days of collaboration, creativity and new music at Element Calgary Downtown. Artists Lucette, Jessie T., Haidee, and Elias James will come together from across the country to write and create original songs, then take the stage to perform their new work during this special showcase. Experience an intimate evening of live music while discovering emerging Canadian talent and celebrating Calgary’s growing music scene.
