Stroll through the farmyard and find your perfect PUMPKINS at Butterfield Acres this year! Visit with all of your favourite animals, say “pumpkin” at our fabulous fall photo-ops, pony rides, a ride thru Scarecrow Alley in the back woodlands (spectacular at this time of year) and you’ve got the MUST-DO fall family fun event that is great for the entire family!
…now with a flash from the past!
This year we have an added option for the littles in your life:
PUMPKIN HUNTS! Morning tickets will have the option for your littles (Pint-Sized Pumpkin Pickers!) to hunt for their very own cute kid-sized pumpkin!
If you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin, family fall fun, or other Halloween activities in the Calgary area, choose Butterfield Acres …….we’re all about the animals!
Here’s what will be happening:

- Visits with all of your favourite farm animals (of course)! Hand washing stations are available throughout the farm and outside animal pens and activities! PLEASE wash your hands after each pen/activity
- Memorable Autumn photo opportunities: lots of adorable photo-ops for your family photos! Don’t forget to post your photos to Instagram and tag us! We love seeing all the sweet memories you’ve created!
- Pony rides for the littles under 60#/27kg (or book a Private Pony for your party!)
- Tractor pulled wagon rides through Scarecrow Alley in our beautiful back woodlands…sensational fall colours! Make things extra special…. book your own PRIVATE wagon… on your order form!
- Toasty firepits waiting for you smokies and s’mores
- Yummy fall treats!
- And best of all……. pumpkins on display can be purchased to take home! Stroll throughout the farmyard and pick out your favourite pumpkins! Your wagon will come in handy if you are getting multiple pumpkins to decorate your house and yard. At the end of your visit (or if you want to buy your pumpkins early and take them to your car), stop at the “EXIT side” of the Admissions building to pay. Watch for signs.
