What to do at Ellis Nature Centre?

Things to do/Attractions at Ellis Bird Farm

1. Take a leisurely stroll along the trails enjoying beautiful gardens, butterfly gardens, orchards, hummingbird gardens and water gardens.

2. See the collection of Bluebird nestboxes and take a Bluebird trail.

3. Join a Bird Banding tour. There is no charge to participate but pre-registration is required—call (403)885-4477 to book.

4. There is also a visitor centre and a gift shop.

One can also host Birthday parties and other functions here.

Who all can go and enjoy ? -All. Kids will love seeing the birds.

The farm is located 8 km east (on Highway 12) and 8 km south (Prentiss Road/RR 26-0) of Lacombe. The farm is on the west side of the road, across from the MEGlobal petrochemical facility.
