The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will fly cross-country to salute Canadians doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19. The unique mission dubbed, Operation INSPIRATION will see the team’s signature nine-jet formation, with trailing white smoke, flying over cities across the country.

Weather Dependent: As part of Canadian Snowbirds cross country flypast, they will be flying from Cold Lake to Fort McMurray on May 15th.

Also on May 15th: Fort McMurray to Edmonton.

Maintain physical distancing and follow local health orders.

The flypast altitude is 1000 ft.

WHEN & WHERE

Friday, May 15, 2020 | 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (The timings are tentative and weather dependent. Verify via the twitter feed given below).

The Snowbirds will take off from Cold Lake by around 9:30 a.m and will fly to Fort McMurray via Black Point and La loche following the flightpath below. The team will land at Fort McMurray Airport by around 10:30 a.m.
