Flute Day 2025
Flute Day 2025 will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 15th, with two hands-on workshops – one in the morning on DIY Flute Maintenance with Joe Piccolo, one in the afternoon on Baroque Ornamentation with Kathleen Schoen.
There will be a Master Class with Flute Competition 2025 runners up conducted by Liz Faulkner and Sarah Pollard, ESO flutists, plus master teacher Karen Shields.
The Top Notes Quartet, with Elizabeth Koch, Elizabeth Faulkner, Sarah Pollard, and Peter Dundjerski, will perform in the afternoon, followed by the finals of the EFA Flute Competition 2025, held for the first time for flute players 25 and under.
There will be a vendor hall for shopping and networking opportunities, and the day finishes with an opportunity for participants to play together in a massed flute choir under the direction of Petar Dundjerski, ending at 4:45 PM.
Lunch is optional for $15, ordered with registration.
Be sure to register, as spots will fill fast. Make sure to bring your flute!
