Learn the art of needle felting figures by shaping wool into a cheeky Gnome ornament!
Fibre artist and instructor Cathy Disbrow will teach you how to wrap wool into a cone shape on a skewer, properly attach the beard locks, how to sculpt wool to create a nose and stab attach it on. These gnomes are fun decor and perfect gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Gnome is approx. 3.5” tall. Wool and 2 felting needles are included in the cost.
Foam felting pads are provided for students to use during class and can be purchased separately.
Participants will have the option of touring Ireland House Museum before the workshop (12pm). Light refreshments included.
This workshop is suitable for ages 16+.
