Come share your holiday spirits with family and friends while strolling through the 60 magical lighting displays set up at Spencer Smith Park.
The Festival of Lights illuminates Burlington’s waterfront through December to early January each year. Thousands of local residents and visitors from across the region, and beyond, have made it a seasonal tradition to wander through the park with family and friends to view the themed displays. Tens of thousands more take in the attraction while driving along Lakeshore Road at the City’s waterfront throughout the holiday season. It represents a popular annual tradition in the community.
- LIghts ON: Official Tree & Park Lighting – Nov 27, 2026, 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. It’s opening night, countdown with us as we illuminate our new 35 FOOT TREE and the whole park comes to life with a countdown. Enjoy live music, including the Teen Tour Band, and a visit with Santa himself!
- Let it Glow – Nov 28, 2026, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. A magical candlelit evening at St. Luke’s Church with a guest quartet from the Burlington Symphony Orchestra performing your favourite pop holiday hits and traditional favourites.
- Sip & Shop– Dec 03, 2026, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.Take a time-out from the holiday rush. Grab your girls and join us for a private Sip & Shop event. The evening begins with a mixology demonstration from our friends at SOBR Market,
- PARADE DAY POP-UP – Dec 06, 2026, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Parade day cold got you feeling Grinchy? Pop in to Lions Club Hall to warm up, with washrooms, hot cocoa, crafts, food trucks and a visit from the Grinch himself.
- Burlington’s Brightest Lights – Nov 9 to Dec 31, 2026 Follow the digital map to Burlington’s brightest home displays, check in and vote for your favourite. Visit six or more homes to be entered in our weekly prize draw. Tour Link opens on November 15
