Come share your holiday spirits with family and friends while strolling through the 60 magical lighting displays set up at Spencer Smith Park.
The Festival of Lights illuminates Burlington’s waterfront through December to early January each year. Thousands of local residents and visitors from across the region, and beyond, have made it a seasonal tradition to wander through the park with family and friends to view the themed displays. Tens of thousands more take in the attraction while driving along Lakeshore Road at the City’s waterfront throughout the holiday season. It represents a popular annual tradition in the community.
- FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – November 29, 2025 to January 7, 2026 – Experience the sparkle of the season as Burlington’s waterfront transforms into a glowing winter wonderland!
- JINGLE MARKET – Dec 06, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Shop unique gifts, handmade treasures, and festive treats from local vendors, the perfect stop for holiday cheer and one-of-a-kind finds!
- PARADE DAY POP-UP – Dec 07, 2025, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Cozy up with cocoa, meet Santa, and explore a winter wonderland of food trucks, family games, crafts, and frosty ice sculptures — all just steps from the parade route! Santa Visits – 12:30PM-2PM Ice Sculpture Carving – 3PM – 6PM
- CHISEL & CHILL – Dec 07, 2025, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – See the Magic Behind the Carve! Ever wondered how ice sculptures are made?
- HOLLY JOLLY TEA -Dec 20, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Join us for a Holiday Seniors’ Tea. Warm up with a hot cup, sweet treats, and a special live holiday performance just for you. Space is limited.
