Battlefield House Museum and Park, National Historic Site presents the annual Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek. Discover Canadian heritage and re-live firsthand the thrill and pageantry of the battle that was a turning point of the War of 1812.

Visit the encampment and mingle with early 19th century settlers and soldiers as they go about their daily life. Shop among one-of-a-kind merchants. Witness historical demonstrations of cooking, dancing, blacksmithing and more. Enjoy food, games and musical entertainment. Wander through the original 200 year old Gage homestead.

The Hamilton Civic Museums and reenactor volunteers invite you to the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Reenactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek. This event is free to the public.

No parking onsite

FREE parking and FREE shuttle buses run Saturday from 10am to 10:30pm and Sunday from 10am until 5pm from the off-site parking at:

Sir John Henry Newman Catholic School, 127 Grays Road, Stoney Creek

The most optimal bus routes are Route 5 Delaware and Route 44 Rymal.

The shuttle bus, and the event’s outdoor activities are accessible (note: there are some gravel pathways and grassy areas). Persons with disabilities may be dropped off using the layby at the entrance to the Park off King Street. Drivers must then utilize the off-site parking and the shuttle bus to make their way to the Park.
