Events Description
Handel’s Messiah is a magical holiday tradition that invites you to bask in the good will, hope, and humanity that resounds through this favourite work as eloquently today as it did in 1742. Perhaps no piece of Western classical or choral music reminds more people of the holidays than George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. Performed in concert halls, churches, and countless other venues each holiday season, Messiah brings together voice and instrumentation to tell the story of the life of Jesus Christ, from the Nativity to Crucifixion and Resurrection, ultimately ending with the promise of redemption and victory over sin.
You are invited to join your vocal section in the audience and sing your heart out to Handel’s glorious oratorio. Scores will be available for purchase at the door.
