Celebrate Christmas with violinist Ioan Harea and his string quartet.
Violinist IOAN HAREA and his STRING QUARTET celebrate Christmas in a “gypsy” style. Get ready for a magical evening filled with tangos and traditional music from East and Central Europe.
Join IOAN HAREA (violin), ALLA PEREVALOVA (violin), PETER PURICH (viola) and GABRIELA RUIZ RUEDA (cello) on November 28, 2025 at 7:30 PM at Glebe St James United Church as they celebrate the holiday season in style.
Some highlights of the program – Orange Blossom Special, Monti Csardas, Caruta postei, Brahms Hungarian Dance #1, Manha de Carnaval, El Choclo Tango, Por una Cabeza Tango and a potpourri of seasonal favourites.
Let’s come together to enjoy the enchanting melodies and joyful atmosphere.
