This sugar shack/ farm is very small, nice employees but really a waste of time. Admission is 6-12$ which is not really needed we went through the whole park and no ones asked to even see our bracelets. They have a kids play area outside with different structures/ sizes mostly made out of recycled items and wood. They have horse wagon rides from the kids area to the pancake house located on the other side of the property. The wagon rides are nice but the employees don’t stop talking during the ride so you can’t really enjoy it, not only that but the wagons themselves are over worked not only the horses but the wood parts looked warped and like it’s suffocating under the weight. Let’s mention the pancake house now, what a waste, 16,00$ plates for a jail style food line up and minimum food on the plates, and it’s not a menu or anything you have to have sausage no option of bacon, no toast, only scramble eggs and a baked bean with pulled pork I assume because there’s shredded meat in the beans for sure just not sure what. Not only is the food not the greatest and expensive for the amount and presentation but the lines to get into the pancake place is ridiculously long we waited over an hour to get in and it’s a lunch room basically and everyone is stuck sitting very close to each other with lunch trays. Then you have the option with admission why one is 12$ is you get a coupon for a drink and dessert, the dessert is either the syrup stick which is a ridiculous line as well or a slice of pie once in the pancake place. Once we ate, we bought two whole pies roughly 15$ each and they were well packaged and made at a different farm but sold here. We also bought two slices to try and used out coupons for the syrup sticks. There’s areas to walk around and fire pits as well overall the experience was okay but not worth the money at all or the wait times. At the end we didn’t even wait for the horse ride to get back to the kids area. We ended up walking on the road to the site and we got there before the horses even showed up. To end of this review I will add one more thing. Johnny on the spots for toilets. Hope this helps!
