Ottawa Kosher BBQ Cook-off and Festival

. The Ottawa Kosher BBQ & Festival will be a celebration of rich flavours and cuisine while engaging all sectors of Ottawa Jewish life. Teams from across the Jewish community will compete in a one-day extravaganza featuring pit masters and cooks, grilling and smoking in various meat categories.
The day’s festival includes a live music stage, a Kosher Food Court featuring smoked meat sandwiches and a variety of Kosher BBQ delicacies, a craft beer garden by local brewers and a large kids fun zone. BBQ competition judging will be done by professional Canadian BBQ Society approved judges as well as several celebrity judges known to many. There will also be a People’s Choice Award. The festival will conclude with an award presentation ceremony for the winners of the competition in each category.
