The Borealis Flamenco Festival (https://www.flamencoborealis.com/festival) presents “Puerta Andaluza”, a live flamenco show that brings you an intimate and passionate evening of traditional flamenco music and dance. An ensemble formed of Calgary based flamenco artists, Puerta Andaluza includes guitarist Tosh Hayashi, singer Silvia Temis and dancers Francesca Canalizo and Maria Regnier. They will perform a variety of flamenco song forms from around Andalusia, interpreting the traditional songs of Cadiz, Jerez and Sevilla through dynamic and innovative arrangements. The group has in recent years been regularly performing together for sold out audiences.
