Immerse in collages that blend iconic imagery and wit to challenge gender norms and domestic expectations. Despite shifting gender dynamics, her work highlights ongoing struggles over household roles. Each piece is meticulously handmade from vintage materials dating 1800s–1970s by Danielle Colle.
About the Artist: Danielle Cole is a Toronto-based artist whose collages, composed of vintage graphics, examine domestic roles and consumerism. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in CBC Arts, Kolaj Magazine and Toronto Life.
