This free event is dedicated to breaking the silence around perinatal mental health. Moms, dads, partners, and caregivers are all welcome.

Because no parent should navigate this journey alone.

Parenthood is one of life’s most rewarding experiences, but it can also bring unexpected challenges, questions, and emotional ups and downs.

Held & Heard: Rewriting the Prenatal & Postpartum Story is a free community event created to break the silence surrounding perinatal mental health while celebrating every family\’s unique journey into parenthood.

Hosted by Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre (DBNC), this event brings together healthcare practitioners, mental health specialists, parents with lived experience, and community supports to provide education, support, and meaningful connections for expecting parents, new parents, caregivers, and families.

Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first child, adjusting to life with a newborn, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to connect with trusted community resources, this event is for you.
