You’ll want to bring your friends and kids to Esplanade Park for some unbelievable food! We’re transforming the park to a foodie haven, jam-packed with a children’s village, beer garden and live entertainment stage. As always, admission is free and we’ll be beefing up the park with some good tunes.

Road Closures:
The Esplanade North, and The Esplanade South, and a portion of the Pickering Civic Complex Parking Lot, will be temporarily closed to facilitate the Pickering Food Truck Festival.
Traffic controls will be in effect from Thursday, August 10, 2023 – 7:00 am to Monday, August 14, 2023 – 7:00 am
The Esplanade North – will be closed from Valley Farm Road to the Civic Complex underground parking ramp on Thursday, August 10, 2023 – 7:00 am to Monday, August 14, 2023 – 7:00 am. The sidewalk on the south side of The Esplanade North will not be accessible from Valley Farm Road to the Civic Complex underground parking ramp during the closure.
The Esplanade South – will be closed from Valley Farm Road to the Pickering Civic Complex outbound parking lot driveway on Thursday, August 10, 2023 – 7:00 am to Monday, August 14, 2023 – 7:00 am. The sidewalk on the north side of The Esplanade South will not be- accessible from Valley Farm Road to Glenanna Road.
Pickering Civic Complex Parking Lot (east half) – the east portion of the parking lot will be closed on Friday, August 11, 2023 – 7:00 am to Monday, August 14, 2023 – 7:00 am.
Additional Temporary Accessible Parking – will be available on a portion of the east side of Glenanna Road (south of The Esplanade South) from Friday, August 11, 2023 – 7:00 am to Monday August 14, 2023 – 7:00 am.

What’s On This Weekend in Toronto
Attended the 2017 Pickering food truck festival. The price points for most food was way to high at $14-15 for a hot dog or sandwich. This is what they charge at sit down restaurants. I ended up throwing the sandwich away as it was awful. Will not attend again, they are charging way too much for simple food items with small portions. Keep your food trucks!
