Events Description
BC Achievement Foundation invites you to celebrate the recipients of the 22nd annual Sam Carter Award in Applied Art + Design on November 19, 2026, at The Roundhouse Exhibition Hall. Join artists, designers, collectors, supporters, and the general public for an evening honouring work that unites creativity, technical excellence, and function. Established in 2004, the award recognizes practitioners across ceramics, furniture, jewellery, textiles, fashion, glass, product design, musical instruments, and even prosthetics. This year’s reception honours four artists: established artists Corrina Hammond and Alan Hung, Judson Beaumont Emerging Artist recipient Mona Lisa Ali, and Award of Distinction recipient Omer Arbel. The evening will feature award presentations, the premiere screening of the recipient films highlighting their creative journeys, and a reception with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
