VSO Community Concert

Join us for an exhilarating evening with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra as our own RBC Resident Conductor leads a vibrant program featuring Falla’s fiery Ritual Fire Dance, Séjourné’s dazzling Marimba & String Orchestra Concerto, Sibelius’s powerful Finlandia, and Holmé​s’ lush and atmospheric La nuit et l’amour. The momentum continues with the spirited Scherzo from Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony before the concert culminates in the triumphant “Throne Room and End Title” from John Williams’s Star Wars Suite, delivering a thrilling finale to this dynamic musical journey.

Join us for a full day of FREE musical delights – 10am to 10pm – spread across multiple stages, including the Orpheum, VSO School of Music, Yaletown, TELUS Garden, Deloitte, and multiple stages in Granville Island. With over 70 performances to enjoy, there’s something for everyone in the family.
