Events Description

Coquitlam recognizes that Canada Day can mean different things for different members of our community. As a result, the City has adapted the July 1 event to provide a day that is sensitive to the diverse range of community perspectives. Canada Day in Coquitlam is a safe and inclusive family-friendly event with a wide range of entertainment, multicultural performances, fireworks, food, fun activities and opportunities to learn more about Canadian and pre-colonial Indigenous history.

Stop by Eat Street, sponsored by Journey Auto Group, from 12 – 9 p.m. to find exciting food options from a variety of different culinary styles. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available.

The family-friendly activities at the festival lawn near Town Centre Park Community Plaza include adventure games like mini golf and a climbing wall, Eat Street with diverse and affordable food options, an Eco Zone for interactive environmental activities, and Coquitlam Lane offering information on the city’s services.
