Events Description
Hyatt Regency Vancouver announces the return of its 33rd Annual Gingerbread Lane, a beloved holiday tradition taking place from November 27 to December 28, 2025. Recognized as Canada’s longest-running gingerbread display event, 2025 Gingerbread Lane continues to bring the community together through creativity, compassion, and the spirit of giving.
Each year, the hotel lobby transforms into a festive wonderland filled with approximately 30 gingerbread houses crafted by talented members of the community. Participants are divided into three categories: Professional, Amateur, and Secondary School, showcasing a wide range of artistry and imagination for visitors to enjoy.
Admission is free, and visitors are encouraged to support Make-A-Wish Canada through convenient tap-to-donate stations or QR codes displayed throughout the exhibit. In 2024, the event raised $25,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Guests can also take part in the People’s Choice Award by voting for their favourite gingerbread house, celebrating the most creative and inspiring design of the year.
General Manager Patrick Gosselin states “We are honoured to host the 33rd Gingerbread Lane and collaborate with incredible partners to support Make-A-Wish. Together with the Vancouver community, we believe in the power of hope and making dreams come true for children in need.”
