Events Description
The event will begin with an Indigenous welcome ceremony. This will be followed by speeches from local community leaders and activists.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. there will be a free sign-making station so you can show Vancouver what you’re marching for! Other entertainment includes a Kid’s Activity Table and a merch booth. There will also be ASL interpreters.
Vancouver’s International Women’s Day is a volunteer and grassroots committee. We have a mission to celebrate, amplify, and fight alongside the diversity of women in our community. We want to create awareness of the issues self-identifying women face in our city.
