Science Rendezvous and International Astronomy Day

Join us at SFU Burnaby campus for science activities, presentations, demonstrations, and a walking tour of the Trottier Observatory! This event is hosted with our friends from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Vancouver in celebration of International Astronomy Day.

Connect with our university scientists and researchers, experience the magic of their scientific discoveries, and build your own breakthrough inventions that you can call your own! Come drop by anytime between 11:00 am – 3:30 pm to engage with our science exhibitors.

MAGIC CHEMISTRY SHOW

Experience the magic of science through explosive and exciting demonstrations and displays! Watch how acid/base reactions can create a myriad of colours right in front of your eyes too! Admission is free, but registration for these shows on a first come first served basis is required. All ages welcome.
